In the heart of Montesilvano, Italy, lies a culinary gem known as Carpe Diem. This charming spot, located on Via Aldo Moro, 22, is a haven for pizza lovers and culinary enthusiasts alike. With a menu that showcases the finest ingredients and traditional techniques, Carpe Diem has cemented itself as a must-visit destination.
As I stepped into Carpe Diem, the warm and inviting atmosphere instantly captured my heart. The ambiance is enhanced by colorful lights that playfully shift hues, creating a cozy vibe that makes you feel right at home. It's a setting where laughter and joy abound, much like the philosophy behind its name – Seize the Day.
The star of the show, of course, is their pizza. Guests rave about the perfectly baked crust, a delightful combination of squishy yet fluffy dough that holds a bounty of fresh toppings. Each slice is a masterpiece, harmonizing a rich tapestry of flavors that truly defines an authentic pizza experience. Even after I savored my meal, the thought of their pizza lingered, prompting me to order a takeout for later – a testament to its irresistible taste.
Among their offerings, the Salsiccia E Friarielli A Ruota Di Carro stands out, priced at €14.00, and is a nod to traditional Italian flavors. For those craving something lighter, their Margherita/Marinara, at €10.50, is simply divine, illustrating the exquisite balance of freshness and simplicity that Italian cuisine is revered for. To complement your meal, Carpe Diem offers a selection of beverages including the refreshing Bibita Lurisia and CocaCola, perfect for washing down that mouthwatering pizza.
No visit would be complete without indulging in their carefully curated wines. The Contadino Cococciola from the Azienda Agricola Podere della Torre is a delightful addition to any pizza pairing, with its floral and spicy notes enhancing the culinary experience.
With its stellar service and a friendly atmosphere, Carpe Diem is more than a restaurant; it’s a joyful celebration of food that invites you to relax and relish every moment. Patrons have echoed sentiments of warmth and attentiveness from the staff, making each dining experience feel personal and unique.
Carpe Diem is not just a restaurant you visit but an experience to embrace. If you're in Montesilvano, do yourself a favor and bask in the rich flavors and warm ambiance this place has to offer. After all, the best pizza awaits you, ready to create delicious memories with every bite.
“ This was honestly the best pizza I’ve ever had – perfectly baked crust, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. Every bite was pure joy! The atmosphere made the experience even better – super cozy and welcoming. I especially loved the colorful lights that change hues – they added such a magical touch to the whole vibe. It’s one of those places where you instantly feel relaxed and happy. Definitely recommend! ”

“ Some of the best pizza I ever had, even when I took the rest home I ate it despite the ants trying to eat my pizza. Service was great and attentive (The picture was after the ant attack, pizza looks great if I don’t get my hands on it) ”
“ Pizza here is to DIE FOR. Must go for dinner if you're in the Montesilavno area. Menu is extensive and you see the chefs making the pizza. Pro tip: Go early or else it get SUPER busy. The pizza was so good i ordered take out at the end of my meal to have the next day for lunch. ”
“ I went there for the first time. I was immediately caught by the new interior design. It was pretty packed, and I wasn’t really able to talk with the person I went with and if you want to surf in the internet you have to ask for the Wi-Fi, because inside there is not really a good signal, but in the end I get the hype. It is a good restaurant and the food was just amazing. I’m sure I will return and you have to show up. ”
“ Pizzas were much more good that we expected. As it is a more modern pizza place hype... We were worried to have some weird modern deconstructed pizzas... (We had the experience in Italy and were disappointed... ) But we were pleaseant surprised, they were good tasty, enough salty, also trendy some of them on menu and classics also. Diavola with ricotta filled edge was very good . And my pumpkin one very sweet and good. The pizza bread very good as Napoli pizza bread is. We wish for wine but we could not have it due to the hope of driving next day. Would have been a nicer sum. Atmosphere one star below as the air conditioning was very poor. Many people were melting including the bar guy. So was not only us outsiders suffering. But overall a nice place to be. ”
“ Fantastic neopolitan style pizza. Lots of options from classics to more adventurous combinations. They also have fried pizza. I tried a ricotta stuffed crust, which was delicious. Serving staff were a little abrupt, but this could have been due to the place being so busy. ”
